PoetryDentist and the Corpse by Freud Pachenko A shambling corpse wandered Through the waiting room, past magazine-faced patients Staining the office-bland carpet with dripping flesh. The receptionist called the dentist, Who tried to throw the corpse out As it did not have an appointment. The dentist and the corpse Wrestled on the ground, But the dentist had the advantage Of owning a drill and a mortgage And the corpse only owned the philosophy That good health begins with good oral hygiene. |
